New contract for a large-size furnace

SECO/WARWICK ThermAL company at the end of February 2011, signed a contract with the ALSTOM Power company for the delivery, installation and commissioning of large-size pit furnace. The furnace is designed for heat treatment of steam turbine shafts in a protective atmosphere and will be installed at the Department of Turbines in the ALSTOM Power company in the division in Elblag/Poland. In addition, furnace was equipped with the external charge cooling system with heat recovery option. Delivery date and the start of assembly work is scheduled for the third quarter of 2011. Standard Furnace Department SECOWARWICK ThermAL offers  roller, belt (MeshBelt or CastLink type) and pusher continuous aggregates, pit, chamber, car bottom chamber and the rotary hearth furnaces for the following processes: quenching and tempering, hardening with low tempering, annealing (isothermal, spheroidizing, normalizing), heating before forging.
