Commissioning and start up of Travelling Log Homogenizing Furnace for Universal Alloy Corporation, Romania
SECO/WARWICK ThermAL S.A. has delivered and is about to start commissioning of 30T electrically heated travelling log homogenizing furnace along with portable cooling station.
The furnace was manufactured according to the AMS2750D norm and is consecutive SECO/WARWICK delivery for UAC Europe. The furnace is designed to maximum 650ºC with the typical operating temperature between 450oC and 580oC. Maximum load dimensions are 2300x1700x5000 mm (WxHxL) with the guaranteed load temperature uniformity of ± 5oC.
One of the main advantages of the traveling furnace design is that the operation does not require any loading devices as the furnace moves itself between two loads, thus very little operating area is required.
