CaseMaster® AFS-34 Sealed Quench Chamber Furnace during start-up
Heavy Duty CaseMaster® AFS-34E furnace system handles loads up to 2,800 kg
ELTERMA has just started-up a new CaseMaster® AFS-34E sealed (integral) quench production line that has the largest size heating chamber and load weight capacity for this type of system. This furnace line is used for hardening, gas carburizing, carbonitriding and tempering of molds and steel forms. This system has achieved a heating uniformity of +/-3oC, while potential hardening distortion has been minimized while quenching due to the application of mixers and the system of collectors.
The gross loading capacity for this furnace is 2,800 kg, and the load dimension are 1,000 mm high x 1,400 mm wide x 2,250 mm long.
The production line is fully automated with a computerized control system that regulates temperature and carbon potential. CaseMaster® AFS-34E system installation consists of the following equipment:
