ELTERMA obtains new orders for high volume furnaces production systems

ELTERMA was awarded with a contract for a Continuous Pusher Furnace System with turnkey installation for the United Kingdom

ELTERMA has signed a contract for continuous Pusher Furnace System, type AP-670, to harden subassemblies used in oil boreholes machinery. The furnace has a rated capacity of 670 kg/h and is scheduled for installation in November 2007 at the customer’s plant in England.

This system will include:

• Automatic tray loading system,
• Pusher furnace for preheating and hardening in a protective atmosphere,
• Oil quench tank,
• Washing machine,
• Pusher tempering furnace,
• Computer control system complete with a human interface for archive and visualization of the heat treatment processes.

The system will be custom engineered to optimize the trays space to increase the furnace productivity, while keeping the physical heating chamber size at a minimum.

Roller hearth furnace system for normalization of steel gas cylinders

ELTERMA has received a contract for the delivery of gas fired roller hearth furnace (ARHG-7.51.51.26/950), for normalizing steel gas cylinders.

This system will be used for the normalization of steel LPG cylinders Ø100mm x 258 mm and Ø 300 mm x 600 mm as well as other tanks. The system will typically process 1100 cylinders/shift. The furnace system is equipped with a vacuum vessel (vestibule) in order to remove air and fill in the bottle inside with the protective atmosphere.

This system consists of the following equipment (listed in the order of its function):

• Rotary roller table for loading
• Vacuum vessel
• High temperature roller hearth furnace
• Cooling chamber
• Rotary roller table for unloading
• Return roller conveyor
• Control system

The operation of the roller hearth furnace is fully automated; the operator’s work is limited to loading and unloading parts on the trays.
